Hemkund Sahib is known as Gurudwara Sri Hemkunt Sahib Ji which isa sikh place of worship in Chamoli district, Uttarakhand, India. It is situated at a height of over 15,000 feet above the sea level in the Himalayan ranges of northern India. Sri Hemkund Sahib ji is devoted to Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Sikh Guru.Sri Hemkund Sahib has emerged as a famous centre of Sikh Pilgrimage. It is visited by thousands of devotees from all over the world every summer.
In the way to Hemkund Sahib Ji first main destination comes Haridwar which is popular destination of Hindu devotees. After passing 20km major city come which is Rishikesh. From Rishikesh to Joshimath distance is 294km. Now, by passing 18km the destination came is Gobindghat from which journey is started on foot.
From Gobind Ghat the destination called Gobind Dham which is 19km far away.

World’s famous Valley Of Flowers is about 3 km from Gobind Dham.This valley has been declared as national park. The best months to visit this flower valley are July and August, during the monsoons.
