Placencia Peninsula In Belize

Situated along the coast of Belize is the long narrow peninsula called Placencia, Belize. This area has three populated areas are on the beach of Maya, the Gulf of Seena and the village of Placencia. You can choose any of these three towns where you might want to stay and that each one gets many different activities and options for fun in the sand and surf here.

To get to Placencia in Belize, will book a flight to both Maya Island Air or Tropic Air. You can also choose to come to the peninsula by bus, which will take four to six hours from Belize City along the rough roads and dusty. If you do not want to brave the long, dusty trip, you can also choose to fly from southern Belize.

There are many things you like to do in Placencia, Belize and these include the many beach activities that most people enjoy, and the exploration of the most unspoilt regions in the area. You can visit the Placencia Lagoon and enjoy some wildlife viewing and bird watching there. You can also go rafting, kayaking and canoeing in the lagoon. Diving tours, rainforest, reef diving and fly fishing are other activities you can enjoy time here. If you want a change in the rate of all these adventures in nature, take time out of them out in one of the cafes located along the main street in Placencia, Belize.
